That depends on several factors, including the age and the frequency and type of use of your elevators. Contact your local branch of Southern Elevator and ask for a free inspection of your vertical transportation equipment. We have various programs based on your needs. At Southern Elevator we never recommend more frequent servicing than necessary. However, we highly recommend preventive maintenance as the best strategy to keep your elevators working properly for many more years to come.

A well-maintained elevator should last anywhere between 15 and 20 years before requiring an overhaul (called Modernization).  Southern Elevator Company is an expert in the modernization process. However, our preventive maintenance program is designed to delay modernization needs for as long as possible—and that can save your company big bucks!
